Luis Avila

Luis was the son of Paulino Avila and Maria del Carmen Apolo, and he shared his life with his siblings: Armando Avila, Sandra Avila, Rene Avila, Eduardo Avila, Rodolfo Avila, and Irela Avila.

A dedicated professional, Luis spent 31 years as a Local 597 Pipefitter, contributing significantly to his field.

Luis's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria and his children: Carmen Garcia, Jose Luis Avila, Angela Avila, Miguel Angel Avila, Robert Avila (Gicela Avila), Roma Razionale (Ken Razionale), and Ariana Avila. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

In his personal life, Luis enjoyed fishing, futbol, home improvement projects, spending time at the casino, and drinking orange juice.

Visitation will be held at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, located at 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402, on January 9, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Luis Avila's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
