Nancy was a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, small business owner and bookkeeper. She was always a book lover and a ferocious reader.
Most important thing for mom was family. She was always at every get together and hosted many events over the years. She was very kind and practiced what she taught: "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Nancy will be so greatly missed by all her cousins, her friends, and those who she so intimately made feel special.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 S. Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. Burial will follow at Mount Auburn Memorial Park.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MountAuburnFuneralHome.com for the Matke family.
