Ted was an Army Veteran and remained proud of his service. He was also active in the VFW and the American Legion, continuing a life of commitment and camaraderie.
A devoted husband and family man, Theodore is survived by Mary, his wife; his sons, Richard and Michael (Tracie); his grandson, Matthew Johnson; and his sister, Beatrice Burian.
In quieter moments, Ted found enjoyment and peace in gardening, a simple pleasure that reflected his steady and caring nature.
Visitation will be held at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402, on March 4, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Chapel Service will follow at Mount Auburn Funeral Home on March 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, 4101 S Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402, on March 4, 2026.
