Althea M. Maddox

Althea Mae Maddox, age 86, of Stockbridge, GA passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019. She was born to the late Alfred and Annie Meadows on October 25, 1932 in Opp, Alabama. Althea was a member of First Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband; Maxwell Maddox.

She leaves to cherish her memories her two daughters; Sherrie Motes and Cindy Terry, her five grandchildren; Tiffany, Steven, Kris, Brad and Stacie, her five great grandchildren; Trysten, Trent, Jojo, Piper and Alivia, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home located at 376 Fairview Rd in Stockbridge, GA 30281. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
