Alvin "AL" Burch age 89 of Riverdale passed away Monday December 12, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Burch was retired from Roadway Express and was a member of the Riverdale Masonic Lodge and South Fulton Shrine Club. Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens with military and masonic honors. Mr. Burch is survived by 2 daughters; Phyllis and Russell Ashley of Lawrenceville, Katherine and Bob Gold of the Phillipines. Sister; Emma Myers of Statesville, NC. 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife France Burch. Daughter; Evelyn "Gerry" Kingsley. Parents; Alvin Levy and Esther Wells Burch. 5 sisters and 2 brothers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 pm.
