Avis Frances Rice Jeffery age 88 of Stockbridge Ga passed away March 30, 2012. Avis was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children Marc Pilotte & wife Sherry, Kevin Pilotte & wife Beth, Cyndi Sanders & husband Bob and step-son Steve Jeffery. Seven grandchildren Avis Marie Sanders, Jennifer Cook & husband B.J., John Hartz, Gordon Hartz, Aimee Pilotte & husband James Sherman, Whitney Pilotte and Erin Pilotte Five great grandchildren Lexie Sanders, William Cook IV, Eli Cook, Juliana Pilotte and Cheyenne Jarrell. Sister, Carol Dale of Cordele Ga. Mrs Jeffery was a veteran of WW II US ARMY Nurses Corps, a member of Saint James The Apostle Catholic Church, McDonough Ga, She sang with a musical group in Chicago Ill. called Musichorale, was a member of the Teachers Union in Chicago and was a Licensed Cosmotoligist. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 3, 2012 in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward, Father James Flanagan will officiate. Internment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens.
