Brenda McDaniel

Brenda McDaniel was born on April 17, 1953, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Lucy Kate Sinkfield. She graduated from Griffin High School and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She worked at Frito Lays for several years where she met her husband, William McDaniel, Jr. She later retired as QA Technician at Country Homes Bakery in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.

More than anything, Brenda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved shopping for and spending time with her grandchildren, sharing stories, cooking, and watching their favorite TV shows. She was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, and sweets no matter what challenges they faced.

In her free time, Brenda enjoyed shopping with her girlfriends Sharon and Marva, just to name a few.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Kate Sinkfield; siblings, Bobby Jean Sutton, Geraldine Taylor and Sam Sinkfield and her son, Kareem Marshall.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, William McDaniel, Jr.; children, DeAngelo McDaniel and Erica Gray (Avanti Gray); grandchildren, DeAndre McDaniel, Akeem McDaniel, Mason McDaniel, Precious Marshall, Karissa Marshall, Taylor McGhee, Tyler McGhee, Tori McGhee, Alexus Gray, Skylar Speed, Jatavius Reed and Jessica Reed; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and family friends.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Brenda will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM in The Fairview Suite at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A Celebration of Life Worship Service for Brenda McDaniel will occur on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM in The Fairview Suite. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 797 Memorial Drive, Griffin, Georgia 30224.
