McKinney, Carolyn Souter, age 83 of Union City formally from Hapeville passed away Monday, August 8, 2011. She was member of Hapeville First United Methodist Church since 1930 and a retiree from Fulton County Probate Court after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by parents John C. and Lillie Belle Souter of Hapeville. Survived by children Jim McKinney of Brookings, S.D., daughter Carol (Terry) Hill of McDonough, GA. Grandchildren Deborah and Sam Smith, Jason and Melissa Hill, Kimberly and Russell Barnett, Jennifer and Rajeev Bukralia, Mike McKinney and Jamie McKinney. Ten loving and wonderful great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home Hapeville, GA on Thursday August 11, 2011 at 1 pm with Rev. Paige Pitchard and Rev. Joe Bufford officiating with interment to follow in College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday August 10, 2011 from 5 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, American Diabetes Association or Hapeville First United Methodist Church.
