Carrie Lou Poss “Maw Maw”, born January 30, 1921 in Forsyth County died February 13, 2013. She is predeceased by her parents Nubia and Bunia Bagwell, husband, Pierce T. Poss, and daughter, Glenda Dorn.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Fay and Bobby Kelly; son-in-law, Bobby Dorn; grandson and wife, David and Renee Kelly; grandson, Lonnie Dorn; grandson and wife, Wayne and Kathy Kelly; great grandchildren, Morgan and Dawson Kelly; Caleb, Joshua, and Luke Kelly; Natalie and Trevor Dorn; Hannah, Miles, and Amy Hardy. She is also survived by sister, Rosolyn Mitchell and sister-in-law, Janelle Bagwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Poss was a faithful member of Highview Baptist Church. Her hobby was sewing. She made beautiful things for many people, including making costumes for all the church plays; but her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She had a perfect Sunday school attendance of 35 years. The Funeral will be Saturday, February, 16, 2013 at 11a.m. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Rev. Ken Woodham officiating. Visiting hours will be Friday, February 15, from 6-9pm and one hour before service on Saturday.
