Charles was born on August 27, 1944 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Charles and Inez Foster. He enlisted in the United States Army, where he received an Honorable Discharge. He married the former Patricia Tackett. Charles retired from Nabisco Bakery as a machinist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles P. Foster and Inez C. Foster and his wife, Patricia Ann Foster. His life will forever be remembered by his daughter, Melissa Butcher (Rick); brother, Reginald Foster (Rita); grandchildren, Courtne Vandiver, Cody & Bailee Vandiver, Caitlin & Montana Wooten, Zack Butcher and Brad Butcher; four great-grandchildren, Haydn, Charleigh, Maddie and Memphis; a host of other relatives and family friends.
A Graveside Military Honors and Committal Ceremony for Charles will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Please gather at 10:45AM in The Heritage Suite of Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia.
