Dale Rogers Phillips age 94 of Tucker passed away on December 29, 2012. Dale is preceded in death by husband Dallas C. Rogers, Sr. after 50 years of marriage and also grandchildren: Jack Wood and Billy Wood.
She was active in her church Glenwood Baptist Church, later Metro Heights Baptist Church for over 50 years. A member of Genesis Class. Hobbies included photograph which she won many awards, and loved to travel and cruise.
She is survived by her daughters: Mava Grace “ Bebe” and( Hugh ) Durham, Sheila Dale Rogers, son: Dallas C. “ Buddy “and ( Christie ) Rogers Jr, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Also proceeded in death by husbands: James King, and James Phillips, step children and grandchildren.
Funeral service for Dale will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Rev. Kader White officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 till 2:00 P.M.
