To the Family:
On behalf of myself and my family, we extend our sincere condolences across the miles.

I met  Trooppaa about 25 years ago.  He was one of my first friends in Atlanta after moving from my hometown of Washington, DC.  I was newly separated with 4 young kids and in need of a computer to be shared with the kids.  Someone recommended Trooppaa for custom computers at very reasonable prices. I had a very small budget and he built one for close to cost, loaded with music software popular at that time. (2000) We bonded over technology and music and a lifelong friendship was born.  

He adopted me and my kids into his family circle, and introduced me to people who he thought could help me further getting acclimated to Atlanta.  A few remain friends today. In addition to keeping my computers up-to-date with the latest technology and music,  he led me to World Changers Church International where my kids and I eventually became members.  This was the turning point in my story when all areas in my life changed for the better. 

Thank you Trooppaa for your spiritual mentorship, for introducing my kids and I to the Jamaican culture (I half understood his Patois!…🥲), for sharing your beautiful Mom, Ms. Babs (RIP) who was a surrogate grandmother to my kids, for creating connections and lifelong friendships; and for stepping my technology game up.   Your impact was huge and your friendship was priceless.

I never would have thought I would be writing something like this so soon for you. I love you uncle, I miss you. Our connection was so instant and pure when god finally brought us together and that was thanks to you uncle for hiring that PI to look for your family in the UK. When I found out you passed I felt an instant break like a piece of my heart went away with you. You wasn’t just my uncle, I looked up to you as a dad as well. I will never forget all the advice you’ve given me over the years, the tears, the laughter, our private jokes, everything. You made me a better person and I’m so thankful.  I will forever cherish the times we’ve had. Over the years you’ve always reminded me that god has a plan for everyone. That’s always going to be hard to accept now but you taught me to always pray and keep faith and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I know you’re looking over me always.  I will continue to make you proud. I hope I find you in another life, the lord will bring us back together. I will continue to pray for Auntie Sarah and all the family. My brother…you are missed beyond measure. I can’t believe you’re not hear to tell me a joke and make me laugh. We’ve only known each other when you came to SuperTug at Delta, but I felt like we’ve known each other all our lives. It was such a pleasure to see a another man of god reading and listening to scripture reading and is discussing them while on our lunch breaks and you calling telling me “You Miserable Ehh” and I would say it takes one to know one. It was amazing seeing how many people said you’ve touched their lives and yet you were so humble about it. I am missing you Trooppaa my brother, friend, we have lost you..but god has gained a servant.

I am so sorry to hear of Deans passing; my sincere condolences to the family. He was such a fun person to be around in high school. I saw Dean many years later on a Delta flight and it was good to catch up with him and talk about the good times in school. Praying for  his wife, children, Samantha and all his family and friends. Rest in peace old friend.

We were away in South America and TROOPPA went to my house to check if my vicious dog had food and water during a bad ice storm in Atlanta.
40 min drive! He was always appreciated! He said he'd cry if he saw a frozen dog. I laughed and said you never saw frozen hot dogs before?

Found a brand new unused holster and drove 40min to my house so i can assemble it for him. Bro, just say you wanted to come over and fall sleep on my couch. Lol...

Dean will be missed here at Delta Air Lines.  He attended the work conditioning program, and he loved the classes.  He was a child of God and had strong faith.  We talk about health and wealth, and he wanted to share with me during the year of 2024 regarding him being in the hospital and how he was feeling better.  He shared with me a video on how he was missing and loving the work conditioning classes and was ready!  He is definitely an inspiration and a strong man of God.  Dean is not just a co-worker; he is my brother in Christ.  The word of God tells us it's better to be absent from the body and present with the lord in the book of 2 Corinthians 5:8 we all will be in a better home one day.  God be with you always

God only knows why you were taken so soon from us. I pray that your family can move forward with pride of having you in the their lives. I will certainly miss you as a friend, customer and business partner. I don’t even know where to start. I never imagined I’d be standing here having to say goodbye to you.
 You were not just a brother you were my friend, my family, my constant.
 We grew up together, we fought, we laughed, we shared so many memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
 It still doesn’t feel real. I keep expecting to hear your voice, to get a call or a text, something.
 You had this way of being tough but also full of love. You didn’t always say it out loud, but I always knew you cared.

A piece of my heart is now in the sky. I will always love you. You are the first stand-up man in my life for me and my daughter you supported me with every business venture. Plus showed me that a real marriage will live forever, no matter how much you have ups and downs. family will always remain. You giving me an experience to always keep God first and stay positive no matter what you show me that a protector is real in this lifetime you taught me that education is serious and it’s not to be taken lately, spending time with your loved ones and investing in your legacy is always worth it. No matter how hard life can become you where always there for me.  I’m going to miss you. I’m gonna miss you. I hope I find you in another life. My deepest sympathy to Dean's family and friends. Working with Sarah, I was able to witness Dean's love and bright light through stories from Sarah and when he popped into our Zoom calls to bring Sarah a beautiful snack or share a quick hello and a smile. In these small moments I saw how much joy and boundless support he gave to others and how much he loved and was loved.

From the very 1st time we met, we became friends. Our sons  Dorian and Darien got to know each other.  You were like the brother that I never had. We will all miss your smile and caring ways. You were full of so much life and laughter. You always knew exactly what to say. It never mattered to me whether you were working or not when I came to visit – just being in your presence was enough.
