Uncle Eddie, you always came to our house when my mom made spaghetti when I was a child, so you were known as 'Eddie spaghetti with the meatball eyes'. We laughed over that and I have never forgotten. I am so saddened to see you leave us and know the rest of the family who have gone before, have welcomed you with open arms. I can hear the laughter now. Rest in peace dear uncle. I will always love you.

I have only fun loving memories of my Uncle Eddie. I will miss him very much. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. Last of 10 children and they are waiting to embrace him in their loving care. May you rest in peace dear Uncle. Love you....

Ed was the brother I never had. We grew up together and had many happy times as kids. Through the years we always kept in tou ch even as he moved south and settled in Georgia and I went north and now live in New Hampshire. Every few weeks he would call and we would have great conversations. We always ended by talking about our cooking and things we were making. All the Tirrells were great cooks. So no more will my phone ring with me answering it hear Ed’s Heh. Will miss you so much Ed. I hope you are having fun with a great reunion. Hope there’s some good swinging trees up ther for you guys to climb. Love you Carol and Steve

I was thinking of Uncle Eddie about 3 months and I thought what a wonderful life he had with Aunt Holly which makes me so happy ....when my Mom got Cancer in 1984 ....without hesitation he drove from Georgia to Ct to be there for my father if needed ...he was a kindhearted man and I wish he had more years with Holly...with sincere sympathy and love
