Francis Scott Morrison, of Rex, GA and Eatonton, GA, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at his home in Rex, GA at the age of 72. Mr. Morrison was a resident of Clayton County for 42 years. He worked for Towers Construction based out of Atlanta, GA. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Essie Morrow Morrison; daughter, Laura Beth Morrison; parents, Mr. James Asbury Morrison and Evelyn Copelan Morrison of Greensboro, GA. Mr. Morrison is survived by his son, Jeff Morrison of McDonough, GA; sister, Jennie Morrison, and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 1 pm at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge, GA. Interment to follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery.
