Guy Tommy Miller

Guy, affectionately called "Bodie," was born on July 25, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia to David Franklin Miller, Sr. and Katherine Louise Langston. After high school, he worked in numerous places but he was mostly a part of the Steel Workers' Union.

He was a man that loved being with his family. He was an easy going guy that loved his Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Dr. Pepper. He lived to ensure that his family was taken care of and that they knew the true love of a husband and father. Bodie also enjoyed fishing, telling jokes and supporting the home teams of Atlanta, the Falcons and the Braves.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, John William "Billy" Miller.

Bodie's life will forever be remembered and cherished by his wife, Deidre Elrod Miller; children, Anthony Elrod, Michael Miller, Jenny Miller and Tommie Joe Miller; grandchildren, Michael Miller, Jr., Lashayla Bonds and Micaylah Williams; siblings, David Franklin Miller, Jr., Daniel Freddie Miller, Douglas Lamar Miller, Eddie Joe Miller, Grover Miller, Elizabeth Ann Thacker, Kathy Sue Ellis and Betty Lee Miller; a host of other relatives and family friends.

A time to celebrate the life of Guy Tommy "Bodie" Miller will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 3:00PM - 5:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
