Born August 21st, 1928 in Hartford Connecticut, son of Harvey A. Hill
Sr. and Ethel Compton Hill and younger brother to Dorothy Gene.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep in hospice after a long battle
with complications from strokes and kidney disease
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Lynette; son, Charles, and
daughters, Mary Ann and Sharon. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
He served in the Air Force then a short stint with Lockheed in Marietta
before taking a position as an electronics technician at Delta Airlines
where he worked for 30 years in the ground radio department as well as
being involved with their computer installations and maintenance.
He was an active Mason, ham radio operator since a teenager, military
affiliate radio operator and computer wizard. He loved working on
anything electronic.
He could fix, repair, refurbish, rebuild or improve any electronic or
mechanical device he put his hands on. He also loved old movies,
anything to do with war history and was a veracious reader.
He will be greatly missed by his family an d friends.
Service to be held Sunday November 3rd at 4pm at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376
Fairview Rd., Stockbridge, GA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2 from 4:00 til 6:00 PM at the funeral home
