James Thomas Myers, Sr. affectionately known as Jim, age 81 of Stockbridge passed away September 29, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife; Mary Myers. Children; Anthony L. and Laura Myers, Tom and Candi Myers. Step-sons Robert and Christy Elliott, Jeff and Kimmie Elliott. Grandchildren; Erech L. and Amanda Myers, Anthony L. and Yen Myers, Jessica K. and D.J. Francoeur, Jarrod T. Myers, Katlyn Lee Myers, Miley Laurel Myers, Shelby Joyce Myers, Elsa Grace Myers, Jessica and Aaron Valenz, Jamie and Alan Bradley, Emily Elliott, Kori Elliott and Jacob Elliott. 7 Great-grandchildren. Brother, Oren and Iris Myers. Mr. Myers is preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Myers, sister Lorraine Bush and parents, Archie Robin and Cora Frazier Myers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday October 1, 2012 from 5-8pm.
