Jason Genethan Harris

After graduating high school he joined the U.S. Army where he toured the world. He taught school and later became a certified welder. He met and married Annie R. Williams and to that union, ten children were born. Later in life he married the late Pinkie Wright and to this union, one child was born. He joined St. Philip A.M.E. Church where he sang in the choir and was a very active member in the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers; Jeffrey Harris Jr., James Harris and Simon Harris; his three sons; Jason Harris Jr., Zackery Harris and Randy Harris, his one daughter; Debra Harris, one son-in-law; George Graham Jr.

He is survived by one devoted and loving sister; Melba H. Daniels of Temple Hills, MD., one sister-in-law; Janice Harris of Decatur, GA; six daughters; Sondra (Roy) Head of College Park, GA, Faye (Carl) Muir of Tampa, FL, Janice (Ezell) Brown of Covington, GA, Melba Graham of Blakely, GA, Kim (Kenneth) Price of Blakely, GA; Shon (Bill) Waters of Lithonia, GA and one son; Scottie (LaTosha) Harris of Blakely, GA, 59 grandchildren, a host of great grands and great great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Family and friends will be received for visitation on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home 376 Fairview Rd Stockbridge, GA. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel. Interment will follow at Kennedy Memorial Gardens.
