Jeanette Sweat Petty, age 79, of Stockbridge, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 2pm, with Mike Newsome officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Decatur.
She is survived by: daughters; Sue & Alex McGill and Hope & Hossian Nankali, grandchildren; Rose Shaffer, Susan Gibson, Natasha McDonlad, Jessica Nankali and Chris Nankali, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers; Ralph, Larmar and Doug, sisters; Peggy, Lou, Ruth and Barbara.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Booker and Laruth Sweat.
