Jerry was born in Smithfield, North Carolina on July 27, 1948.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After an honorable discharge, he went on to pursue a career in management at Altec Industries, where he retired after many years of service. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Elaine Bradley of McDonough, GA; two siblings, Bobby Bradley of Smithfield, NC and Joyce Robinson of Cartersville, GA; four children, Jennifer Thomas (Derick) of Rex, Scott Bradley of Cumming, Tonya Philbrick (Jon) of Cumming, and Dawn Fusco (Joe)of Toccoa; two stepchildren, Robbie Holloman (Jenn) of Monticello, and Toni Holloman of Locust Grove; 14 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Jerry on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Immediately following visitation will be a celebration of Jerry's life at Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with graveside military honors and a graveside committal at approximately 2:00 PM in Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
