Bones, 
There were some great times had in your garage! I just wish i could have been a part of more of them! You were very welcoming and like a Father to me. You left behind 3 Awesome Daughters and 5 Amazing Grandchildren who loved you unconditionally, which was a testament of the Great Man you were. You impacted every persons life, that had the pleasure of knowing you, in a positive way. I'm sorry this is the final goodbye but you will live on forever in my memories. I'll take good care of all your girls! Love and Miss You Tons!!

You'll never know how much we already miss you. You've been not only a great neighbor, but an incredible friend. You and your family are our family and we feel extremely blessed to know and love you and "our" girls. You'll be forever in our hearts.

The first time I met Bones was a few years ago.... I went with Kellie (My best) and the girls to go over there and celebrate a birthday if I'm not mistaken.... It was there that I met the family and Bones was the center piece. He reminded me of my Papaw.... He loved his girls so much... but not in the mushy way some parents and grandparents tend to be....  :) you just kinda knew that they meant the world to him. I knew how special he was by the way Kel used to talk about him... the stories she shared.... how she would always say " I gotta try to get by and see daddy Sunday".... He clearly touched the lives of so many people.... Even me! not only by just being super nice and funny every time I saw him.... but even when I had my own little accident. Poor Bones helped me (I'm like twice his size by the way) all the way up two flights of stairs after a pretty bad knee injury that happened at the house. There was a whole yard full of people and Bones was actually the first one to my rescue! He checked on me several times the rest of the day......(and brought me a beer every time! haha) He was a good man.... with a good heart.... he loved his momma and daddy and his girls big. I never got the chance to know him as well as so many others, but you know how sometimes you can tell that certain people have a "good soul"?... Bones was one of them.... a good soul.
He will be missed by so many....

Kellie was one of my best friends in high school so I spent a lot of time at her house in my teen years. Mr. Chamlee was a devoted dad who liked to joke with me about my fear of the animal heads on his living room wall, affectionately (I assume- haha) calling me "the bunny hugger". Now, as a parent myself, I see what a remarkable father he truly was, raising three girls on his own. Parenthood is a tough gig and he was a tough guy, but ultimately a really great father and man. RIP from the Bunny Hugger (Ashley Butler Cosgrove)

Bones was a long time good friend of my brother and our family. He always had a smile on his face and laughing. My prayers are with this family and he will be truly missed. God bless his family.

Bones You touched a lot of Hearts in the life you lived from getting lost in the deep waters out of Suwannee Fla and scaring poop plumb out of Mikey, to just sitting sideways in the tide kicked back in your boat telling Shane and David as the passed through in a tiny bass boat that We were Shark Fishing they motor on We would pop a top set fire to a number and just laugh We caught plenty of fish in all the spontaneous trips we took I'm telling you it might be 10 o'clock at night on Wednesday lets hook the boat and go to Fort Morgan LETS GIT IT BY GOD I Love You Bones Shane will surely miss you We all will Bye Buddy Love "TINY" See You on the FLIP-Flop

I've always heard stories about "Bones" from my friend Kellie, his daughter. Even though we didn't meet I felt like I knew you. A tough exterior, someone who would do whatever he could to help, didn't suffer a BSer but had a soft side too. I know he will be greatly missed by all his daughters, and grandchildren and the rest of the family! Cheers Bones! Your family loved you dearly
