

Kenneth Wayne Jackson, 74 of Stockbridge GA passed away at 2359 on Thursday February 23, 2017 at Piedmont Henry Hospital. He was born June 5, 1942 in Atlanta GA to the late Homer and Margaret Jackson. Ken served in the United States Navy. After his time in the Navy, he joined(CF) Consolidated Freightways. He completed 30 years of safe driving service and retired with the distinction of being the #1 driver on the driver seniority board. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 728. Ken enjoyed time with his family and friends, his cats, and his Natural Light beer. He was a fan of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He also enjoyed his Nascar racing, scratch offs and Keno .He spent many of hours on his back porch and at the following establishments: the Sugar Shack, Irish Pub and of course Southern Comfort where he played his Keno.
Surviving Ken is his children Kellie House and husband Frank, David Jackson, and Theresa Jackson- his life partner for the last 25 years Bernice Hawkins and her daughter India Hawkins and her son Todd, his wife Misty and their children Chase, Chess, and Chaley- grandchildren: Brianna, Bryson, Isabella, and many nieces and nephews, brothers Lamar and Ronald and sisters Barbara, Cheryl, and Connie. Ken is preceded in passing by his brother Norman and sister Linda. His visitation will be from 12pm-2pm Saturday March 4, 2017 at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge GA, followed by a Funeral service at 2pm with Chaplain Jerry Weaver officiating.
