Luzier B. “Penny” Hicks, 73, of McDonough, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emet Liles and Mary Speks Liles; husband, Jack A. Hicks; and brother, Reese Liles.
Penny is survived by her daughter, Christy Hicks; brothers, William Liles, and wife Edna; Wayne Liles, and wife Wanda; sister, Eva Yeaple, and husband Bob; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Hicks will be held Tuesday, November 12, at 11:00AM at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel. Interment will be in the Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cancer Society in Mrs. Hicks name. Family and friends will be received at the home immediately following the service for refreshments and a time of fellowship.
