She was raised in a house hold of Aline Pierre and her Husband Ernest Pierre. She was the oldest sibling of both mother side ; Gladys , Hypolite, Marie Chantale and Manette and Father side ; Ernest, Jesse, Chantale and Myrtha.”
Marie was born in Port a Prince Haiti and at age 19 she was given the opportunity to move to New York where her birth father lived. Before leaving she caught the interest of a young man named Henry Claude Pierre. For Henry it was love at first sight and he knew he couldn’t let her slip away so he pursued her. They were married soon after and had Four children ( Stanley, Nelly, Scarly and John). In the late 90’s Marie, Henry, and the children left New York and started a new life in Georgia. Marie was a great wife and the absolute best mother. To Marie nothing in the world mattered more to her then her relationship with God and her loved ones.
Over the years she was blessed with eight grandchildren ( Dashiner, Quanez, Christian, Tysean, Danje, Kendell, Iyonna, and Elijah). She was also fortunate to receive the news of a ninth grandchild. Her role as a grandmother even further defined her love and nourishment for others. Marie remained completely active in her entire families lives meanwhile pursuing her own career in the medical field. Marie stood strong even after losing her last born( John Pierre) on May 28th 2015.
She was the glue that mended the family together and made it her duty to be there no matter the situation. In 2007 Marie was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. She fought that battle with faith and courage through the years. Through her journey she remained the positive righteous women she always was. Even though she only birthed four children many consider her a mother figure. She is an inspiration to everyone and has made an impression on all our hearts. A loving and nurturing spirit is what she was built with.
“ Mom we love you more then you could have ever known and you will always be in our hearts”.
