Patsy Jean Smelley, age 76, of Stockbridge, GA passed away May 20, 2011. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Travis Smelley and son Lamar Smelley. She is survived by daughter, Michele Bullock and husband Lonnie of Stockbridge, son, Douglas Smelley of Locust Grove, sister Wanda Naff of Hapeville, grandchildren Ashley, Jeffrey, Hope, Anna, Ryan and Cameron and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge, Rev. Larry McNorton officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 1 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
