Paul Dennis Ogle, lovingly known as "Pops," passed away on April 20, 2025, in Stockbridge, Georgia, at the age of 69. Born on August 28, 1955, in Newport, Tennessee, Dennis was the proud son of the late Paul and Beth Ogle.
Dennis was an athlete through and through, known in high school for his powerful arm on the pitcher's mound—his curveball and knuckleball were the stuff of legend. But it wasn’t just sports where his talent shone. A true lover of all things mechanical, Dennis had a passion for old cars and trucks, and the uncanny ability to fix just about anything. He was an avid outdoorsman, happiest with a rod in his hand or out in the woods.
Above all, Dennis's greatest pride and joy was his family and friends. If you were one of them, you knew it—because he told you, every single time he saw or spoke to you. That unwavering love is a legacy that comforts us now. There are no regrets left behind, only the strength of his words and the warmth of his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Beth; his sisters, Pamela and Lonnette; and his wife, Glenda “DeDe” Ogle.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Ogle; his sons, Michael (Amy) and David (Sarah); grandchildren, Kayla and Logan Woodward, Alyssa and Casey Selfe, McKinley, Jax, Hadley, and Henry Ogle; and his great-grandson, Ridge. Each of them carries a part of his spirit and strength forward.
Dennis lived with love, laughed with ease, and left us with hearts full of memories.
