Rolf Kurt Fischer

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, He served in the United States Army and was a member of Kiwanis Club. Mr. Fischer was a retired entrepreneur of Al’s Snack Bar & Classic Carpet Cleaners in Brevard Co, FL. He attended The Tabernacle & St. Johns Episcopal Church. Later residing in McDonough GA, Rolf served with Into the Light Ballet, Co. and was a member of McDonough Christian Church.

He was preceded by: His wife Muriel Joan Fischer, His daughter Cynthia Fischer Stegmire and parents Max and Elsie Fischer.

He is survived by M. Wayne & Deborah Fischer of Jasper Tx, Rebecca & William Sellers of Winter Garden Fl, Rolf Jr & Deborah Fischer of Melbourne Fl, Ruth & Scott Strickland of McDonough Ga, Mark & Cynthia Fischer of Homestead Fl, David & Barbara Fischer of Titusville Fl along with 30 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include his brother, cousins and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, June 1st at 6:30 pm, at the Strickland residence in McDonough with Pastor Don Daily officiating.

The Burial ceremony will be at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Fl. later in June.

Rolf will be remembered as a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great Grand Father. An Honorable Christian man with a passion for prayer, art, and music. A love for his family and friends with undeniable joy and laughter.
