

Ronald was born on May 18, 1947 to Major and Ethelene Green in South Carolina. He enlisted in the Unites States Armed Forces and retired after serving over 20 years in the United States Army.
He met the love of his life in Brenda Evans. They were married on July 28, 1966 and remained so happily ever after for over 54 years. Ronald was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and served tirelessly in church. He was an amazing man who was loved by all. His favorite pastime was enjoying Nascar racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Major Green; mother, Alma Ethelene Dunn Green; and siblings, Marlane Sanders and Dianne Carson.
Ronald ’s life will forever be remember and cherished by his loving wife, Brenda Green; children, Michael Ray Green (Pamela) and Ronda Michelle Cauchon (Billy); grandchildren, CJ, Andrew, Taylor, Savannah, Brooklyn, Christopher, Michael, Daniel, Jace; great-grandchildren, Braydon, Rylee, Saylor; siblings, Sharon Nicometo (Nick) and Robert Green; a host of other relatives and family friends.
Visitation for Ronald will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia.
A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 12:00Noon-2:00PM at McDougald Funeral Home, 2211 North Main Street, Anderson, South Carolina.
The Graveside Celebration of Life for Ronald Melvin Green will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 2609 US-29, Anderson, South Carolina.
