Roy Jeffrey Lening

Jeff was a lifetime resident of Lake City, Georgia and was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Charlette Lening and Roy Claiborne Lening. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Brenda Faith Lening, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and partnership.

Jeff was a devoted father of four — Casey, Josh, Jessica, and Jake — and a proud grandfather of four — Lane, Logan, Hayley, and Hayden. A strong family man, Jeff dedicated his life to providing for and supporting his family, always putting their needs first. He was deeply involved in his children’s lives, including coaching their sports teams and cheering them on throughout the years.

Jeff was dedicated to his career, working for over 20 years with ABM Janitorial Services, after previously working for Enviro Care. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment.

He shared a close bond with his brothers, David Lening and Mike Lening, relationships he cherished throughout his life. A true Georgia native, Jeff was a loyal fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, the outdoors and he loved classic rock music, especially AC/DC.

Jeff will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
