Born on February 20, 1931 to Eddie Lee Cosby and Lena Colley Jarriel of Union Point, Georgia.
Ruby is survived by her three daughters, Hannah (Mike) Jessup of Conyers, Alicia Bull of Atlanta and Maria (Josh) Siler of Marietta. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She is predeceased in death by her husband of 50 years, brother, Jesse Cosby, sisters, Mary Frances Hankins and Gladys Jarriel Blackburn.
Remembrances may be made to The Heart Association.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., April 29, 2025 at Phillips Mill Baptist Church, Washington, Georgia, visitation prior to the funeral will be held from 1-2 PM, following a graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point, Georgia. The family will receive guests at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel on April 28, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
