I am very sorry to hear of Sandi's passing. She and I went to school and I babysat Melissa while she went to school when she came back from Germany. I met Sandi online on the Charlie Co. FB page when her son, Michael, and my grandson, Gerry, were going thru boot camp.  We never met in person but she made feel like we were lifelong friends. She was so easy to talk to.  She also brightened many days when I was recovering from neck surgery.  It was going slower than expected but she had a way of making me laugh. Dearest loved ones of Sandi, I met her as a helper on the charlie co rct page when Michael was in training. I was immediately struck by her loving nature and her care and concern for others. She had the ability to cheer everyone up. She was always positive and uplifting. She made sure everyone was alright. I will always treasure those 13 weeks and the time that has followed sharing time with Sandi. I know she is carrying on in heaven as she did here on earth - loving everyone. I picture her giving a hug to our Marines and soldiers that have given all. She is truly missed and I know when I cross over Sandi will be waiting to show me around heaven! Heaven gained a wonderful sweet soul. All my love and prayers for comfort are with you!

As a Marine Mom, I lost a Marine Mom sister and there aren't words to console the broken hearts.  Prayers for strength.

I am still in utter shock and disbelief over the loss of my long-time friend. I wish we had taken the opportunity to get together more often, but we were both busy living life, and forgot how precious it is with no guarantees. Sandi will be missed by so many!
