I called you today.........and did not realize what I did , Until the message came on that " this number has be Disconnected " ... I looked down at my phone ....and I was Calling " Grandma". I just want to hear your voice and say you love me .....and ask about Courtney. I dream of you often and you are just reading a paper or cooking dinner on a Sunday . We all love you .... 7 days ago today we lost the most loving part of our family...... I miss you Grandma

Grandma your gonna be missed truly missed your smile your hello's to each one who came in you found it important to talk to every one your door was open 24/7 food on the table. you cooking jimmy hollering let's eat Butter beans ! with the house being filled with kids  grand kids great grand kids then here come the great great kids who most learned to walk there .in no doubt we felt the love  but we understand now the PEACE sign !which I will hold dear thank you for allowing me in your family I promised you 33 years ago I would  take care of Lisa n Grandma I will ! love you rest now ! and don't let Lisa work me to hard cause you did raise a go getter ! love your grandson -n law Jerry .

To A Mother who cherished her kids there was nothing she wouldn't do for her own any time any where there you were making a huge difference paving a way for them you worked hard , cooked ever meal you played even though it was work you made it fun ,I thank God he gave you a heart of gold to keep Dana & us girls and raise us as your own I thank God you stood up for us when things go south you bring us back North . when we didn't feel important you reminded us how important we were to you n how we MUST hold our heads up high keep God close Grandma my heart broken I stood strong to the end . Momma, I remember the sacrifices you made for us. The times you carried me on your back to the nursery about 615 in the morning, wearing a weaving apron so you could work in the mill, teaching me to cook and can food for the winter. I will never forget you trying to learn to drive in a 1951 Chevrolet deluxe, 4 door and you tore up the whole garden! Your daddy was so mad and Claude was running behind  you yelling "Stop Sarah, stop!" I am 70 years old and I have a ton of memories of you. You were my rock, you and Jean were always there when I needed you. Thank you for the good times and all the love you gave us all. You will be missed in my home, I love you. Grandma ,  Today as we said our Good byes   ,I could not help to think it was all a dream. I just wanted you to get up and dress me up for school or church . Tell me to go Grab me a coke. You guided me and told me what is right from wrong, but you always told me to speak my mind. I was lucky to have you watch me for ALL my days of my life even from a distance you were there. You were strong when I was weak , especially when I had Courtney. 
I was blessed to be with you when you left us ...I know you are in a better place. I have spent more days with you then I  can count. Shopping , Playing , Easter, Walks ,Holidays, Christmas plays , Bible school , Watching the Braves play and much more.  I hold 41 yrs of memories in my heart and that is what I will cherish . I truly love you with all my heart cause you were the BEST LOVED PART !! I hope you like the Poem that Trista and I read. You gave us strength and joy . 
you are with all your family and more . I was lucky that I got to share my whole life with you  ...I will remember all the yrs and more....... I love you !! and miss you more .

Grandma,

Thank you for all of the wonderful times we got to share together. I am so grateful for the last few years we got to spend so much time together, and for Gabe growing up with you. You are a wonderful woman who lived a long and happy life. We will feel the loss of you forever, but have many good memories, laughs, and smiles that you provided us. Phillip loves you so much, and like always, gave you a kiss on the cheek and told you how much he loves you. Thank you Grandma for being in our life. While we are sad to see you go, God is still good. With your passing, he blessed us with another life. We love you so much. Phillip, Sarah, Gabriel, and baby Truitt.

Grandma, You lived a beautiful life. You loved me and treated me like your own. I'm thankful I had the last years with you. You were truly a blessing to me, Skyler, David and Joshua. We love you more than anything . Rest in peace and give Jimmy a hug from us. Your life was a precious gift to us all.

Love the pictures gallery...If it had not been for my dad, I would not have known Jimmy, your grandmother or any of your family.   Your grandmother was a special lady.  That trait followed down to you, as well.  My condolences for your loss.  She is in Heaven with her parents, your grand dad, Jimmy, and my mom and dad, along with so many others that loved her.  My grandmother was my rock also.  God is holding you in his arms to help with the pain and he will give you strength to be a rock like your grandmother.

Well Grandma today is the day we lay you to rest. I'm going to miss you very much. All this just feels like a dream, We never seen this day coming. But we know that you are happy again. I'm thankful for all the things you have done for Mom and I, the whole family. I'm so happy that you did get to see my graduate like you always said you wanted. I love you and I miss you. I will see you again.
