

Vickie E. Tatum, 68 years old, born on November 27, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia, was called home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2025. Vickie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Henderson and Curtis Brooks, and her beloved husband, William “Bill” Tatum.
Vickie is survived by her three children, Amanda Long, Richard Long and Crystal Wallace.
A heart full of grandchildren & great grandchildren. She leaves behind a sister, two son in laws and a daughter in law, a niece and two nephews, Vickie was also a second mom to her step children as well!
Vickie also had a special person she considered her “Bestie”, Mike Tims, he was specially chosen to speak over Vickie, this was her wish!
Vickie journeyed through a life of simplicity , finding joy in the little things, like waking up before sunrise to enjoy quiet time and coffee, dancing to her favorite songs, taking countless pictures of her most precious moments! Panama City beach was her favorite place to go and see God's creation and beauty of the world. Watching Tom Brady play football made her the happiest, and of course being surrounded with her children, and loved ones!
Vickie was a beautiful soul inside and out, her beautiful smile lit up every room she stepped into!
Vickie was surrounded with love by many and will be greatly missed!
The many memories we shared with her will replay in our minds often, and we will carry her in our hearts forever… until we meet again, may you rest in eternal peace. We love you “Mama and Granny Vickie,”.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at 03:00 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Family will receive friends from 01:00 p.m to 03:00 p.m. prior to funeral.
