Beginning with King Café, Allen’s career took him to many varied restaurants where he made lifelong friends. It brought him to The Shadows Restaurant in 1966 and with Pat and Norman, the restaurant was a second home to his family and loyal clientele for 40 years.
In addition to frequent trips to San Francisco, many years included a summer vacation. Allen traveled with his family to southern California, Carmel, Hawaii, Las Vegas, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and many other locales. Regardless of where he went, he was always most happy at home.
The Mah family wishes to thank everyone for their kindness and support. Services will be held at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at Harney Lane in Lodi, CA on Saturday July 18th at 2pm.
