Amparo Macias Lopez passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Febuary 7th, 2017. Amparo worked for Stockton Unified School District for over 40 years as a paraprofessional. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ramon "Tony" Lopez and her son, Louie Lopez. Amparo is survived by her loving children: Sonny (Paul) Takhar, Marie "Minnie" Lopez, Gloria (Albert) Oliva, Carol Lopez, Bobby (Vicky) Lopez, Mario (Stacy Rose) Lopez and Angie Lopez; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Vigil is schedule for Tuesday, February, 14, 2017 at DeYoung Memorial Chapel from 3 pm - 6 pm with a Rosary at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial is held on February 15, 2017 at 10 am at St Luke's Catholic Church.
