

C. Herman Kozlow passed away peacefully December 2, 2016, at age 97 after a long full life. Born June 10, 1919, he was a graduate of the University of Maryland, and originally from Schenectady, New York. Herman served 24 years in the U.S. Army serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict, reaching the rank of Lt. Colonel. His final post was Fort Baker, California and retired from the Army in 1963. He spent the next 17 years working in the telecommunications industry for GTE. Upon his retirement, he and his beloved wife, Adele, enjoyed many years living on the golf course at Rancho Murieta. A lifelong golfer he spent many days on the course hitting them long and straight. Upon Adele’s passing, he moved to O’Connor Woods in Stockton where he became an active and well known resident. He enjoyed his life with new friends and the wonderful staff. He particularly enjoyed the many physical activities from Tae Chi to water aerobics. He is survived by his daughter, Janice C. Broderick of St. Louis, MO; his sons, Paul C. Kozlow (Elizabeth) of Stockton; Wayne S. Kozlow (Melanie) of Lockhart, TX; grandchildren: Andrew J. Kozlow (Natalie) of Livermore; Douglas P. Kozlow (Elizabeth) of Pleasanton; Lanette A. Feeney of Santa Clara; Matthew W. Feeney (Adrianne) of San Jose; and Lauren A. Brown (Colin) of Bellevue, WA; great grandchildren: Ella M. Kozlow, Leah E.
