

Clifton was born on March 5, 1958, in Stockton, California. He lived a life defined by exceptional intelligence, unwavering faith, deep love for family, and a relentless drive to build, teach, and lead.
A tested genius and highly skilled programmer, coder, and security expert, Cliff was widely sought after by high tech companies and government agencies for his rare and exceptional abilities. He was instrumental in developing and implementing systems for major organizations including DHL, Comcast, Verizon Business, Stanford University, and United States Postal Service, among many others, impacting hundreds of thousands of lives through his work.
Cliff founded Future Technology and Research Inc., where he served as President and CEO, and went on to establish several startup corporations, including Future Academy and Current Trends. In the mid 2000s, he played a key role in the foundation and growth of Future Homes and Real Estate, established in April 2013, and Future Property Management in April 2015, respected and recognized brands across Northern California. His work ethic, vision, and knowledge were unsurpassed, and his legacy lives on through the many business partners and individuals he mentored.
Above all else, Cliff’s life was rooted in his relationship with our Father in heaven, Yahweh, and his Savior, Yahashua. If you spoke with Cliff, it would not be long before he shared his faith and encouraged others to seek a relationship with the Father. He faithfully honored Yahweh’s Sabbath each Friday at sunset and observed the appointed feast days as outlined in Leviticus. Each Friday evening, Cliff would send a Happy Sabbath message as a way of letting others know he was thinking of them and praying for them. He was a devoted and faithful servant.
Cliff’s passions reflected both his precision and his appreciation for excellence. His love for Porsche automobiles was unmatched, and he had a deep knowledge of the history of the Porsche family and the evolution of the 911. He owned many over his lifetime. He also had a deep love for music and sound, possessing a rare ability to hear and appreciate even the most subtle tones. As an accomplished musician, his ear for quality and nuance in music was exceptional.
He had a strong appreciation for humor and enjoyed stand-up comedy, movies, and Saturday Night Live. His humor was sharp and mature, and he admired comedians such as Rodney Dangerfield, Richard Pryor, John Candy, and Chevy Chase. Cliff had a natural ability to make people laugh and brought joy to those around him.
Cliff was a man of strength, discipline, and generosity. He would give you the shirt off his back, but more importantly, he believed in teaching others how to stand on their own. He lived by the principle of not just giving a fish, but teaching how to fish. He was a problem solver, a teacher, and someone who believed anything was possible. His first response was often yes, followed by a commitment to help find a way to accomplish it.
He loved to travel and found joy in the beauty of the beach, the mountains, and long drives through the forest, especially behind the wheel of a Porsche. Mendocino and Los Angeles were among his favorite destinations. He also had a love for great food and remained loyal to many of his favorite restaurants for decades.
Cliff was tough, resilient, and one of the strongest individuals you could ever know. He challenged those around him to grow, to be responsible, and to become better.
He is loved and respected by many and will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the knowledge he shared, and the faith he carried. Through our relationship with our Father in heaven, Yahweh, that bond remains eternal.
Cliff is survived by Partner of 33 years, Annette Lewis, his son, Brandon Johnson, and his four granddaughters; his six Sisters; Angela, Mona, Nicole, Vivian, Cathie, and Ayana, and five Brothers, James, Mark, Gordon,Toshiro, and John, and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
Cliff was deeply devoted to his faith in Yahweh and Yahashua and was known for sharing messages of faith, encouragement, and prayer.
He will be remembered for his strength, wisdom, generosity, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
