

Constance “Connie” Estante passed away in her sleep on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1929 to Faustina and Nicomedes Cano Sr. Connie attended Stockton High School and worked at Dentoni’s where she met the “love of her life” Ricardo “Rick” Estante. She also worked at Diamond Walnut, Tracy Defense Depot, Rough & ready Island and the Stockton Record. Rick and Connie married in 1949 and together they raised four children Rebecca, Robert, Roberta and Renee. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, Grandmother, Great and Great-great grandmother, auntie and friend. Nana “Connie” will be greatly missed by her grand, great and great-great grandchildren and also her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her eldest daughter Rebecca Duckworth of Stockton, son and daughter-in-law Robert & Cathy Estante of Temecula and daughters Roberta Gonzales and Renee Gallegos of Stockton, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. She is also survived by her brothers Daniel Cano, Nick (Barbara) Cano Jr. and her sisters Phyllis (Jimmy) Ente, Laura Ente-Tenio, Anita (Mario) Perez, and sister-in-law Irene (Den) Revillar.
Connie is preceded in death by her husband “Rick” Estante, parents Faustina & Nicomedes Cano Sr. mother & father-in-law Salvacion & Cecilio Estante, son-in-laws, David Duckworth & Anthony Gallegos, brothers & sister-in-laws Toribio “Terry” & Emily Rosal, George & Anita Cano, sisters Caroline Burila, Rosalyn Cano, sister-in-law & brother-in- law Eleanor & Demetrio “Buster” Villa.
All services will be at De Young Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton, CA. Visitation will be held on September 29, 2022 from 2p.m. to 6p.m. with a Rosary at 6p.m. Chapel Service will be held on September 30, 2022 at 10a.m. followed by a Burial at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E.
