Consuelo Carrillo Hernandez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Consuelo Carrillo Hernández, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and faithful servant of God. She was born on October 29th, 1936 in Guadalajara, Jalisco México, and departed this life on December 15, 2024, at the age of 88.

Consuelo came from very humble beginnings. At the age of 20 she came to the United States. She dedicated her life to her faith, family, and the values of compassion and service. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education at California State University, Stanislaus, and worked as a Teacher Assistant for over 25 years. As a devout Catholic, her unwavering trust in God guided her through every chapter of her life, and she shared this faith with all who knew her. She loved to spend time with her family, and was very proud of all of her children. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at De Young memorial chapel from 2-6pm, rosary will follow at 6pm. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10am and a commital will follow at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery in the Mausoleum. Reception will follow.
