Dorothy Ilene Wood

D. Ilene Wood, 79, passed away September 20, 2016 in Stockton, CA. She was born December 30, 1936 to the late Arthur & Mary Beam in Ceres, CA. In addition to her parents Ilene is preceded in Death by her son Kevin Lee Wood, and her granddaughter Holland Grace Welborn.

Survivors include her daughters, Denise Wood, and Cindy (Steve) Welborn; her grandchildren, Joshua (Stephanie) Welborn, Ashley Wood, Courtney (Chad) Bryant, Beau (Emily Haberle) Welborn, and Nash Welborn. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Mason Welborn, Greyson Welborn, Olivia Welborn, Mia Gulli, Alyssa & Marissa Bryant, and Noah Bryant, her sisters Betty Siebrecht, and Mable (Jerry) Erwin and many nieces and nephews.

Ilene cherished the years she was able to stay home raising her children and created a loving home. She began her working career with Macy’s in the Men’s Department, she then moved on to Pacific Drug Store for a number of years. Her accounting/ office manager career began at Delta Ambulance until the business sold. She then went to Abby Medical which led to her final career with St. Joseph’s Medical Center of ten years where she retired. Ilene enjoyed working in her garden and traveling. She loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ilene will be remembered most as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
