Fernando "Perry" Navarro Sr.

His parents were Ricardo Navarro and Vicenta Felix. He was the 4th oldest of 5 brothers: Samuel, Ruben, Pablo and Carlito.

He was married to the late Dominga Manabat Navarro on June 1, 1969 to May 14, 2004. Then, remarried to current wife Elizabeth Hernandez on November 8, 2010.

Perry’s children are Maria Gutierrez, Fernando Navarro Jr, Federico Navarro, Edgar Navarro, Rosemarie Navarro. Daughter in laws: Loretta Navarro, Camille Navarro and Jovy Navarro. Son in laws: Ramiel Gutierrez and John Schwabauer.

Grandchildren are: Alex Navarro, Augustine Navarro, Evan Navarro, Adriana Navarro and Mahayla Schwabauer.

Perry was originally from the town of Ramona Isabella, Philippines. He graduated from FEATI University, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He came to the United States in 1972 first contracting as a farm laborer and also cannery work in Alaska before landing a full time job at H.H. Robertson for 18 years and retired from Tracy Army Depot on July 30, 2009.

Fernando had many friends throughout his life and was equally liked and loved by many. He liked watching basketball and football, listening to music from Nat King Cole, Tony Bennet, and Perry Como. He was raised Catholic and loved attending church and going to Novenas.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a dear friend. There are no words that can express how sad we are to have lost you.

A visitation for Fernando will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr, Stockton, California 95219. A rosary will occur Monday, November 28, 2022 at 4:00 PM, 7676 Shoreline Dr, Stockton, California 95219. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. George's Catholic Church, 120 W. 5th Street, Stockton, California. A committal will occur Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton, California.
