

Georgia passed away peacefully at the age of 85, just short of her 86th birthday at the hospital surrounded by her family on January 24. She was a mom to Cindy and son-in-law David of Ione. Eric and daughter-in-law Julie of Salinas. Grandmother of 5, Daniel and his wife Mary, Brenna and her husband Kyle. Sarah, Kristin and Wyatt. Great Grandmother to Ava and Kessler.
Georgia grew up in Riverside, CA with her three siblings, Bob, Delmer and Betty. At the age of 13 her mother re-married and they moved to Stockton along with two more siblings, Iris and Warren. During High School she worked at Miracle Music where her love of song was a big part of her life, she loved music and collecting records. She met her future husband Bill in High School at a dance, they married in 1954 and started their family. In 1966 they bought Lost Isle Resort from Bills parents. They grew the already family friendly resort into a boaters paradise for 14 years. Georgia, while raising her young family was chief cook and bottle washer along with many other duties. They sold the island in 1980 and Georgia moved into town. She had a few odd jobs before working at The Mystery Store on Wilson Way. Georgia loved to travel and spend as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren. She loved to take pictures and share them with her family and friends. She retired to become a caregiver for her mother, Lula who lived until almost 100. Georgia moved into assisted living in February 2017 where she enjoyed all her new friends, field trips and act ivies. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends. Till we meet again Mom!
