

Grady “Bugs” Leon Pendergrass passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital on 05/08/2016 in Stockton CA, at the age of 66. Grady is survived by his two children Cortney Lynn Pendergrass and Grady Scott Pendergrass of Stockton CA, and his sister Janice Theodosi. He is preceded in death by his parents Grady Pendergrass and Pauline Mildred (Carruth) Pendergrass, his twin sister Katy Husband, sister Paula Rider, brother Freddie Pendergrass Sr., and half-sister Diane Parrish and half-brother Ronnie Curruth. Grady was born on May 5, 1950 in Roseburg Oregon. He graduated from Richmond Union High School in 1969. He married Tina Pendergrass on March 18, 1989 and later divorced in November 1999. Grady graduated from Richmond Union High School, was the first in his family to graduate high school, and excelled in drafting. Later he completed a carpenter apprenticeship program. He went on to work in construction all over California and Missouri. He was also a founding member of Trail Bike Sportsmen Association riding all over California with his friends on their bikes. Later in life his love for his children ruled over everything. Grady loved his church, Linden United Methodist Church, and the friends he had made there, often volunteering for church events. A viewing will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Tuesday the 17th, from 2:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. There will be a reception at Linden United Methodist Church following the viewing at 7:30 p.m. in Mission Hall. A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Linden CA, on Wednesday the 18th, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30a.m. After the Service in Linden there will be a graveside service in Napa at Napa Valley Memorial Park, starting at 2:00p.m.
