Specialist Harvey T. Fox passed away on January 16, 2025 in Stockton, CA. Harvey joined the United States Army on February 04, 1957. He served until being honarably discharged on January 31, 1963. Harvey was born on May 23, 1934 in Iron River, WI to Harvey Fox and Gladys Greenlee. He was dedicated to serving the local community through his tenure with Stockton’s Fire Department for 30 years. He also volunteered with local churches, schools, community organizations and was a dedicated member of the Sheriff’s Team of Active Retired Seniors (S.T.A.R.S). He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to country music, watching sports and classic movies.
Harvey was preceded in death by his wife Rosie B. Fox; his parents; his brother Donald Fox; his sisters Dorothy Chamberlain, Mildred Johns; his brothers-in-law Ozzie Chamberlain, Fred Bunell, Earl Bowers, Don Johns and Mike Nessler. He was also preceded in death by extended family Margaret Z. Velasquez, Robert Z. Rodrigues, Ernest Rodriguez, Sally Cobarrubias, Joe Cobarrubias, Bill Tankersley, and Margaret Velasquez.
Harvey is survived by his daughter Gloria Fox, son Thomas Fox, daughter Francine Fox, son Ron Fox, granddaughter Rosie R. Fox, grandson Stephen Fox, and grandson Anthony Fox. He is also survived by his sisters Edna Bunnell, Viola Nessler and Barbara Bowers including their families; brothers-in-law David Rodriguez, Joe Velasquez (Vivian); sisters-in-law Esther Tankersley, Carmen Guerrero (Frank, Sr.), and Mary Velasquez.
