Hipolita Salamanca Lime

Hipolita, aka “Poling” by many, was born on February 19, 1935, and raised in Mayantoc, Tarlac, Philippines. She was the daughter of Bienvinido Salamanca and Tarcela Samaniego. Hipolita passed away quietly and peacefully on January 28, 2025 in Stockton, California alongside close family and friends.

Hipolita is survived by her husband of 72 years, Perfecto Lime, their four children, Armando (Josephine), Celieta (Jesus Sr ), Edwin Sr (Elizabeth), and Iluminado “Mike” (Flora “Eva”), grandchildren (12), Allan, Edwin Jr, Louie, Gerald, Jennifer, Kristian, Jesus Jr, Kim, Leonie, Nathaniel, Jeremiah, & Jasmine, and great grandchildren (14), Gabriel, Daniel, Ashton, Alyssa, Ashley, Keihla, Vanessa, Kyle, Kelsie, Wesley, Jesus Jr-III (Thirdy), Prince Ino, Audrey, & Ace.

Hipolita will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, especially to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is known to them as their “Inang” (mother). Hipolita carried a smile wherever she went. She was a very simple yet classy woman, small in stature yet giant in her care for others. She had a servant heart for her family whom she served very well and was very proud of.

Visitation and Memorial service will be held at De Young Shoreline Chapel, Stockton CA on February 13, 2025, from 1:00pm-7:00pm.

Hipolita will be laid to rest in Stockton Rural Cemetery, Stockton CA on February 14, 2025, at 10:00am.
