James B. Herrington passed away Monday, February12th at the age of 85. James served in the Air Force in the 1950’s. James spent a career with the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department, where he eventually retired. After retiring, James enjoyed aviation, umpiring, barber shop singing and sporting activities with family. He is survived by his sister, Evelyn Herrington-Mooneyham, sons Bob (Ann), Ron (Terry), Randy (Becky), several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21st from 12 pm - 6 pm at De Young Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 22nd at 10 am at DeYoung Chapel. Interment will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
