John Edward Francois

John Edward Francois passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 81. John was born to Frank and Sadie Francois, on August 28, 1941, in Stockton, CA. He graduated from Edison High School. John was a machinist for 43 years for Geiger Manufacturing.

John was an avid fan of University of the Pacific basketball where he faithfully watched the games from his regular seat. He was a loyal 49ers fan. John enjoyed gardening while watching the wildlife of the Delta that swam, flew, and scurried past his home. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing golf, the stock market, and gambling at the casino (especially when he was winning!). He loved living in Stockton and pointed out the beauty he saw in it every day.

John will always be remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his mother and best friend, Sadie Francois, father, Frank Francois Sr., and brother, Frank Francois Jr. He is survived by his niece, Marla Navarro (Stephen), nephew Ryan Francois (Amie), by his great-niece and nephews, and close extended family.
