Lilia was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1936, and passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024; she was 88. Born in the small village of Contepec, Michoacan, Mexico, Lilia and her family lived just a few blocks from the church where they attended mass. Together, Lupe and Lilia raised and loved Albert, Dolores, Manuel, and George. After moving to California, Lilia and Lupe spent their time together working hard and making memories: outings included going to baseball games, taking trips to Yosemite National Park, and raising their children in the Catholic Church. As the years progressed, Lilia spent days working at the Del Monte Cannery, teaching Catechism, and when they came along, spending time with her grandchildren, Robert, Andrea, and Sara.
Lilia is survived by her 2 remaining children, Dolores and George; 3 grandchildren: Robert, Andrea (Kevin), and Sara (Anthony); 6 great-grandchildren: Lily, Joseph, Kamryn, Quentin, Brielle, and Xander; her brothers, Roberto and Gerardo, her sister Ofelia, her cousin, Cecelia (Daniel); as well as numerous friends and extended family.
