Mary Davenport, age 84, of Stockton, CA passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, July 30, 2017. She was born on February 11, 1933 in Nebraska to her parents, Samuel and Lydia Nuss. Mary was the youngest of 3 children. She lived in Stockton for a total of 82 years. Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband John P. Davenport, sister Clara and brother Albert. She is survived by her children: Tamara Davenport, Karen (Mark) Loeffler and Greg P. Davenport: 5 grandchildren Jason, Charles (Lindsay), Aaron (Liane), Jamie and Emily, and 1 great grandchild Nolan. DeYoung Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Davenport family. There will be a visitation for family and friends at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. Stockton, CA on Monday August 7, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am followed by a graveside service at 11:00 am at Stockton Rural Cemetery, 2350 Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA. The family has requested donations be made to Hospice of San Joaquin.
