
Nina Isola Guebara was born to Tony & Rose Bolognini on July 20, 1940 in Stockton, California. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School on June 12, 1958. She met Tony while swimming at the pool at Oak Park with friends. She went on to attend and graduate from the Maude Cornwall Secretarial School. Tony and Nina married on January 14, 1961 at St. Mary’s Church. They moved to San Jose where Tony attended San Jose State University and Nina worked as a legal secretary for the District Attorney’s Office. After Tony graduated they returned to Stockton and went on to purchase a home and raise two children, Katina and Anthony.
Nina was a homemaker until her kids went to high school. She returned to work as a legal secretary for a short time and then joined Tony at their sign company, A.G. Signs, which they owned for 25 years. Tony did the sales and design and Nina did the bookkeeping.
Nina was loving, nurturing, intelligent, kind, caring, and silly. She loved to clean, she was an excellent cook and loved to try new recipes. She even learned how to make Grandma Guebara’s Huevos Rancheros and Enchiladas.
Nina was a strong matriarch to her family. She made everything feel special and she carried this into her relationships as well. She loved her five grandchildren and was dedicated to helping raise them. She attended all of their sporting events, recitals and school events. She was a beautiful person and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Tony Bolognini, her mother Rose Bolognini and her husband of 55 years Tony Guebara. She is survived by her daughter Katina Richison, son-in-law Paul Richison, her son Anthony Guebara and daughter-in-law Lyna Guebara, her grandchildren Zackary and Gianna Guebara, Caroline, Chloe and Claire Richison.
